Colonial Houses and Town Buildings

Native Village
of small houses built as described on the Building Construction Page. Two story building in the rear is actually two one story buildings, designed to fit together vertically.

Large Native House
made from two smaller houses placed in an L-shape.

Built by David. Figures are small 25s from Ral Partha.

Domed House
The simple addition of eight wedges of foamcore and a dome made from half a plastic egg transforms an ordinary square hut into a special building. For maximum flexibility, give the building a finished flat roof and make the dome a separate piece which can be used on this or any other building, as necessary.

Built by David. Figures are small 25s from Partha.

European-style Stone Farmhouse
now being used as a Boer command post. Walls and roof are 3/16" foamcore board. Thatch is acrylic spackling paste, sculpted, painted and stained. Walls are textured using spackle stippled on with a wet brush. The roof is removable.

Built by David. Figures are small 25s from Partha and Heritage.

Flat-roofed Stone Hut
being investigated by Boer scouts. Construction is the same as outlined on the Building Construction page. Walls are textured using spackle stippled on with a wet brush. This building features a slat awning and a cloth awning.

Built by David. Figures are small 25s from Partha and Heritage.
