Gallant Commanders of
The Second Battle of Tel Debi
Steve and
Alan
were the doughty commanders of the British and sepoy units of the garrison
at Tel Debi.
Their characters' names are now forgotten, which is just as well, because they are
dead,
dead,
dead.

David
played the intrepidly vacillating German kommandant von Himmelstupper, whose
inspired dithering at the tombs gave the British an extra turn or two of
time, without which the Random Anarchist might never have made an appearance
and the entire British garrison might have escaped.
At least, that's the way the report will read.

Max
played the Native chieftan Makkas al Bzil, known to the infidel dogs as
Beezil the Bandit, scourge of the desert. Though known far and wide as the
most bloodthirsty renegade emir in Ouargistan, Makkas al Bzil wishes it
known that the stein contains only the purest water, and any photographs
of him smoking a cigar to celebrate the victory are fabrications of the
British newspapers.
